NOVO Quartet (DK/PL)

NOVO Quartet's journey began in 2018 with three childhood friends and a Polish violist — a look-alike to the second violinist. In the beginning, the young quartet couldn't even agree on a name, so the organizer of their first concert named them "NOVO" — because they were new. Six years later, they still feel as at the beginning of their journey. Not due to the lack of experience, but they are always exploring, keeping doors open, and letting curiosity lead the way.

That curiosity has taken them far. With around 75 concerts a year, they have performed in world-class venues like Wigmore Hall and Victoria Hall. But they also seek contrasts — like playing at a boys' school in Kenya, discovering how music brings joy even where classical concerts are rare. They have had the pleasure of performing alongside Quatuor Modigliani, Danish String Quartet, Per Tengstrand, and Alexander Lonquich, as well as genre-crossing projects with Dreamers' Circus and Bremer/McCoy.

NOVO Quartet's achievements include top prizes at the Geneva, Heidelberg, Carl Nielsen, and Trondheim competitions. Most recently, they were selected as BBC New Generation Artists for 2025–27 – a major milestone that will strengthen their growing presence in the UK. They are also part of The Young Artistic Elite 2024–26, a distinction awarded by the Danish Arts Foundation which they see as essential fuel for the quartet engine.

But none of this matters without their bond. Over time, the quartet has become a small family, built on respect, care, and humor. This philosophy inspired them to create their own festival, ACROSS, where they exclusively invite already established ensembles. Here, it's not about soloists but about celebrating the spirit of chamber music — a vision they are passionate about realizing.

Trio Pantoum (FR)

Formed in Paris in 2016, Trio Pantoum has quickly become one of the most sought- after ensembles of its generation. Laureate of numerous international competitions
— Munich (ARD), Vienna (Haydn), Lyon, Trieste, Melbourne, Osaka — the Trio now performs in some of the world's leading venues, from the Philharmonie de Paris to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Monte-Carlo Opera.

Its name, inspired by a poetic form of Malay origin adopted by Ravel, reflects the Trio's artistic vision: discipline, breath, and the construction of a collective voice. Guided
by Claire Désert, Trio Wanderer, Miguel Da Silva, Corina Belcea, Hatto Beyerle, Johannes Meissl, Patrick Jüdt, and Xavier Gagnepain, the ensemble pursues a level of refinement akin to that of a string quartet.

Their debut album MODERN TIMES will be released in April 2025 by La Dolce Volta, featuring Arensky, Ravel, and Srnka. Immediately praised by critics (Le Monde, Télérama, The Strad), it marks a bold and compelling debut.
Upcoming performances include concerts in London (Wigmore Hall), Amsterdam (Concertgebouw), Copenhagen and Ankara (Bilkent Concert Hall).

Trio Pantoum is a laureate of the Fondation Banque Populaire, an artist-in-residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac, and supported by the Fondation Safran pour la Musique.

Elmore Quartet (UK)

Founded in the industrial city of Manchester (UK), the Elmore Quartet is an award-winning British Quartet based in London, where they are currently Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

From their first sight-reading session at the start of their studies in 2017, the Elmores were bitten by the chamber music bug and have been pursuing their dream of performing chamber music together for audiences across the world ever since.

Over the past two years, the Elmore Quartet has recorded multiple times for BBC Radio 3 and performed at esteemed venues throughout the UK and Europe, including Wigmore Hall, Kings Place London, Bridgewater Hall, and Oxford's Holywell Music Room. In 2024, they were awarded Third Prize at the 13th edition of the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

In 2024, the Elmores were selected as Penzance MusicAbility Foundation's first resident String Quartet. This three-year position allows the Quartet to integrate themselves into West Cornwall's unique community by performing regularly as part of the Concerts Penzance concert series, working with local schools, and utilising their passion for sharing classical music with new audiences.

In addition to their performance and outreach work, the Quartet proudly launched the Elmore Chamber Music Festival in 2020. With the goal of providing a platform for fellow young musicians, the Festival has since grown into an annual event held every August in the picturesque village of Elmore, Gloucestershire, bringing high-level chamber music to a rural community.
